


Day 1 | Ocean breeze and twinkling lights.
PM: Enjoy coastal cuisine in a way that would please even old Ebenezer. Invite the Doorway Singers to perform a Dickens’ Christmas at Rockafellers’ group dining room with vast windows facing the ocean. Cruise the boardwalk in the comfort of your motorcoach or vehicle for a spectacular view of Holiday Lights at the Beach.
Day 2 | Shop for holiday magic.
AM: Follow a Pocahontas Pancake House breakfast with a visit to Hunt Club Farm for their Winter Wonderland Barn and Magical Toyland Forest with marshmallow roasting.
PM: Tour historic homes – Lynnhaven, Adam Thoroughgood, and Francis Land Houses are decked out for the holidays. Shop at Town Center, where evening brings a show at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts and dinner at Bravo! or McCormick and Schmick’s.
Day 3 | Harbor seals and inspiration.
AM: Start with a Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center tour, and visit with the ever popular harbor seals.
PM: Tour the Christian Broadcasting Network and catch a holiday show at Regent University Theater. Visit Norfolk Botanical Garden’s holiday light display.
Day 4 | Stocking stuffers and cooking with class.
AM: Explore the aisles at the Virginia Beach Christmas Market, Kane Marie Gallery or the boutiques at Hilltop for holiday specialties.
PM: Stop in at Schakolad Chocolate Factory for a sweet treat and intimate look at the magic of chocolate-making. Bask in the glow of thousands of sparkling lights on a 35-foot Christmas tree, and dine as you spend the evening learning chef secrets in a Founders Inn group cooking class.
Day 5 | Holiday crafting to go.
AM: Walk along the boardwalk for a farewell glimpse of winter’s orange and purple sunrise. Visit the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia for holiday ornament classes and a visit to their galleries.
