One way visitors like to get around in the summer is on the local trolleys, the VB Wave. Services is on Atlantic Avenue and from 17th Street and Pacific Avenue to Laskin Road to Lynnhaven Mall.

Museum Express operates from 5th Street to Prosperity Road Memorial Day through Labor Day. HRT provides area Trolley and bus transportation.

Bikes, surreys and roller blades are a big part of the beach scene. All can be rented, along with safety equipment, at various hotels and other locations up and down the boardwalk. Costs vary and are by the hour of the half-hour. Mopeds are also available for rent at select locations.
